Rain over the Loch

Rain over the Loch

The Loch is Carlingwark Loch on the edge of the small town of Castle Douglas in Dumfries & Galloway, and the weather, with its low cloud and the rain sheeting down is, I must admit, fairly typical for the west coast of Scotland at almost anytime of the year.

Even so, it is beautifully atmospheric.
