The Ironbridge Gorge open air museum is a wonderful place to visit and its staff contribute hugely to the experience as they always look the part because of the care they take over their costume. Many of them are highly entertaining characters and are full of background information about the buildings they attend to. This was a dark cottage full of period detail as well as nice touches like the vase of wild flowers in the window.
