A strange silence descended on the normally crowded streets of Ernakulum when a general strike was called and with no transport we were able to walk the empty streets unhindered. Kerala has a Communist government and the unions are a force to be reckoned with.

Thanks very much…….it was a strange day, as normally I like photographing people going about their business, but this day, there were none…..oh, sorry, I snapped an impromptu cricket match….photo to come!
