    1. Thanks, much appreciated. I think that this is entered into an inter club competition, so I will be interested to hear what the judge has to say about it. Friends have suggested various crops but having tried them I still think that this works the best.

      1. Sometimes going back we find some surprises. I’ve been building a new SmugMug to sell my photographs. This includes images done many years ago. I’ve found a few that stand up better that originally. I sure have a different way of processing them.


      2. My camera club has a limit of 3 years which I consider entirely arbitrary especially, as you say, our editing and changing emphasis means that older images were once rejected but now become potentially useable.


      3. Ours use two years. I’ve not thought about the time issue as much as the opportunity to work on images using knowledge gained since the original presentation. I’ve working on a series that I did 10 years ago in Tanzania. I don’t think I so much missed anything the first time as much as learning how to be better at post-process.
