Beautiful lighting on this John. Really stunning.

Cropping has helped with this, as well as some editing of the lighting. Thanks Tim.

Cropping is one of our strongest tools. Sometimes I have to tell myself to do less cropping in the camera. It can wait for the post processing.

I sometimes change the camera format to take square which I like, but also pano, but most usually crop in post.

That’s an interesting approach. Can you change that in post-production?

You can, yes, though I think once the in camera decision has been made it’s only right to follow through. Hopefully it teaches you self discipline or helps you to work to a consistent format.

John, that is true if you tend toward being disciplined. I’m a bit lazy with having it all, well so to speak, in one lens. The Tamron 16-300mm gives me a lot to play with. Oh, yes were talking about in the camera. I’ll have to try that format style. Thanks.
