A late afternoon walk through the streets of Agra and people stop to talk. The boys approached to have their photo taken, and in the background, Alan is engrossed in a conversation. In both interactions the body language is all part of the rich pattern of communication.
An early February picture when we walked up Fuffock Hill, and a mid March piece of editing that came out dark and moody and which absolutely matches my frame of mind just now.

St Mary’s Isle is a heavily wooden tongue of land that runs down the centre of Kirkcudbright Bay and is a popular area for an afternoon walk from the town. Despite this it is a very secluded and quiet place at any time of the year. Hopefully, once this vey cold weather has departed, it will be full of daffodils and a little later covered in a haze of bluebells. This is a July 2013 view.
The woods at Brighouse Bay are a favourite place for a short walk with the dog and here is another example that was taken in February ten years ago.
One from the files that I think was taken on Cannock Chase in Staffordshire, England. It is in a desktop folder where there is a collection of related tree and forest photos, though this one is on the reserve list as far as exhibition work is concerned.
I have an autumn exhibition to prepare for and one range of images that are under consideration involve woodland and forest scenes, as well as trees in the landscape. Some of these will definitely appear as monochrome images, but in the meantime here is a Brighouse Bay woodland scene as shafts of light penetrate through the trees to illuminate an ancient dyke.

This was a pleasant evening walk around Nodaike Reservoir that I remember particularly for the large number of dragon flies on the wing. This is a suburb of Takamatsu City, looking south to the mountainous interior of Shikoku, Japan.
Looking south-east towards the coast from Fuffock Hill across the peaceful landscape of southern Scotland. You might just be able to make out the offshore wind farm of Robin Rigg that stands in the middle of the Solway Firth at centre left. On the horizon are the mountains of the English Lake District.
