Scotland’s Dumfries and Galloway is a land of rolling and hummocky lowlands and small craggy hills, so here is a patch of rolling cow pasture. Many of the farms are moving to more intensive methods and although plenty of springtime lambs can be seen in the fields, more and more the cattle are reared in the growing number of large barns.
