Glen Trool is situated in the Southern Uplands, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, and this is one of the many mountain burns that cascade down into Loch Trool.
North of Glen Trool is Merrick, and at 2,800 feet it is the highest mountain in the Southern Uplands.
We wandered the narrow back streets of Varanasi and were happy to capture intimate scenes like this of the close communities there. Inspirational India.
On our return from visiting family at Easter we travelled home via the beautiful Yorkshire Dales on a wet and dreary day after some heavy snow in Sheffield. We always seem to be passing through this wonderful area on our way to somewhere else.

Ross Bay lies on the west side of Kirkcudbright Bay. It is a quiet and isolated spot and is rarely visited despite its close proximity to the small town of Kirkcudbright.
