Smithiesshutter is making a comeback with hopefully another five years of blogging after having used up all the 3GB of library memory on the original blog, and is now set up to deal with a new Life, Photography, and Other Mistakes – The Vintage Years…..on the basis that it can only go downhill from here!
So with renewed optimism, both hearing aids plugged in; and not just a little heavy breathing, Round Two is about to start…..
If you would like to see what Round One looked like, please visit…
Where you will find the first 5 years worth of photography and over 2000 posts.
We start with a scene taken just down the road from here, here being Kirkcudbright, Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland. That’s Little Ross Island at the mouth of Kirkcudbright Bay. Incidentally, Kirkcudbright is pronounced Ker-coo-bree! So now that you have learned the local lingo, let’s get on with looking at some more photographs….
Oh, and if you visit here for the first time, welcome.
note. It will take me a few days before I have a grip on the format and style of this new blog, so there will be gaps in the menu/about and general layout….please be patient, especially when it comes to the photography!
Best regards,
John
