Nodaike Reservoir Walk

This was a pleasant evening walk around Nodaike Reservoir that I remember particularly for the large number of dragon flies on the wing. This is a suburb of Takamatsu City, looking south to the mountainous interior of Shikoku, Japan.

From Symbol Tower

The Takamatsu Sun Port area is enhanced by the Symbol Tower that dominates the waterfront and was the location for an exhibition of paintings by my wife and our friend Damian several years ago.

Passing Train

Sanjo Cho is suburban district of south west Takamatsu in Japan. We have visited our friends there on a number of occasions and this path took us across the railway to Youmetown which was a large out of town shopping mall.

No doubt, Damian, you will let me know if I have failed to remember correctly the name of the shopping centre!

A floodlit festival of flowers in Takamatsu, Japan, prompted this close up view of one of the yellow Cosmos that filled the gardens at a local park.

 

View of the Bridge

The Seto Ohashi Bridge joins Honshu with Shikoku in Japan and is the world’s longest double deck bridge. The view is from the southerly Shikoku island just south west of Takamatsu in the Kagawa Prefecture.
