The Victorian Town is a brilliant venue for photography, so put it on your list of places to visit. The Ironbridge Gorge Museum is close to Telford in Shropshire and the area was the cradle of the Industrial Revolution in England.

The once fine Abbey at Dundrennan in Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland is open for visitors, though not in the winter months when it echoes only to the crows and gulls.

 

Going Loco

This was an attempt to make a more abstract interpretation of the wheels and motion of a steam locomotive that resides in the Glasgow Riverside Museum of Transport.

Glasgow built steam engines for many world railways.

Over Kelvingrove

A second view taken at the Kelvingrove exhibition of the work of comic book artist Frank Quitely. Here Superman flies over a comic style view of the gallery done by the artist. This corner of the gallery gave children the chance to dress up and get into character, and a few parents joined them, getting into the mood of the show as well.
