Temple Prayers

Prayers and offerings were being made at the hill top Doi Suthep temple north-west of Chiang Mai in Thailand, the scent of the drifting smoke a tangible sense of the hopes of those offering their worship.

 

Doi Suthep Temple

This beautiful temple in northern Thailand was a place of pilgrimage and there was a steady stream of visitors quietly coming forward to make an offering or to say a silent prayer.
