The subject of today’s post is the charming coastal village of Staithes in Yorkshire.
i can remember a visit here in the 80s when we were lucky enough to attend a lantern slide show in a church hall. It was full of village old timers who could name most of the photos of village fishermen that appeared on the screen from the early years of the century.
