The peaceful scene here was taken in the Kagawa Prefecture on the Japanese Island of Shikoku. Across the Seto Inland Sea can be seen the Okayama Prefecture on the much larger Honshu Island, the Japanese mainland. We have made four visits to Japan, staying with our good friends Damian and Utako in Takamatsu. Close to this point is the Great Seto Bridge that joins the two islands by a 13.1 Km double deck bridge, the longest of its type in the world.
John, beautifully captured. Thank you for the geography lesson.
